SURPRISE — A manager at a Surprise martial arts studio has been arrested, accused of sexually abusing a student who was 14 when the relationship began, and police say there may be more victims.
Jose Alexandro Zamora, 30, was arrested Oct. 28 at his home in Litchfield Park, according to ABC15 and FOX 10 Phoenix. He worked as a manager at Legendary Martial Arts near Reems Road and Waddell Road.
Zamora faces charges of sexual conduct with a minor, continuous sexual abuse of a child and child enticement. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
Police said the relationship began in October 2023, when the girl was 14, and continued until March 2025. Investigators received a tip about the case on Feb. 23, according to the reports.
Because Zamora worked closely with young students, detectives believe there could be other victims, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Surprise Police Department at 623-222-4000 or Silent Witness at 623-222-8477 and reference incident number 260201435.
Zamora has not been convicted and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
