TEMPE — A man forced a woman into his car at gunpoint early Halloween morning in Tempe, then drove her to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her, police said.
Tempe police said the man approached the woman near 8th Street and Dorsey Lane at about 2:30 a.m. Oct. 31, FOX 10 Phoenix reported. No one is in custody.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old with thin facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and driving a light-colored SUV.
“Our priority is everyone’s safety. We understand information is limited, but want the community to be aware,” the department wrote on X.
Police said the information released so far is limited and the investigation is ongoing. Investigators have not said whether the suspect and the victim knew each other.
