PHOENIX — Lufthansa will begin nonstop service between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Munich on Aug. 3, 2027, the German airline announced, ABC15 reported.
The year-round flights will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using an Airbus A350-900 with 293 seats: 48 in business class, 21 in premium economy and 224 in economy.
The route will be the only nonstop between Phoenix and Germany. Condor ended its Phoenix-Frankfurt service in 2024.
The announcement adds to a wave of new international routes at Sky Harbor over the past year.
