Ford is recalling more than 102,000 F-Series pickups because the speedometer and tachometer can stick or move erratically and display the wrong speed, raising the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, FOX 10 reported.

The recall covers certain 2025-2026 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks and F-600s, plus 2026 F-150 and F-750 models. Ford traced the problem to deficiencies in a supplier’s process.

As of Sept. 16, Ford had logged 18 warranty claims and 93 field reports tied to the defect since January 2025, with no accidents, fires or injuries reported.

Dealers will replace the instrument cluster free of charge, and owners will receive letters explaining the issue.
