More than 4.3 million tubes of fluoride toothpaste sold nationwide, including several children’s brands, are being recalled over manufacturing-practice problems, the Food and Drug Administration said, FOX 10 reported.
India-based manufacturer Pritam International started the voluntary recall Sept. 10, and the FDA classified it as Class II on Oct. 19. Affected brands include Brush Buddies, Crayola, Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, evo, ARU and BB, in flavors such as bubble gum, strawberry, watermelon and mint.
The toothpaste was distributed by Ashtel Studios of Ontario, California, in 3.5-ounce and 4-ounce tubes and two-packs, with expiration dates from November 2026 through June 2028. Consumers can check lot numbers on the FDA’s recall notice.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported.
