SAN FRANCISCO — Stephen Curry hit eight 3-pointers and scored 31 points as the Golden State Warriors rallied to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 112-95 on Friday night, according to CBS Sports.

The win was the Warriors’ third straight after an 0-3 start, and Curry passed Dominique Wilkins for 18th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

Luka Doncic scored 21 points in the first quarter and finished with 37, adding seven rebounds and five assists, CBS Sports reported.

Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, who had called Doncic a flopper after his first NBA game, had his worst night as a pro: six points, one rebound, no assists and five turnovers before fouling out.

Asked what he would do differently, Lendeborg said he would ‘try not to wet the bed as bad as I did.’

The game opened the NBA Cup group stage for both teams.
