TUCSON — Arizona Wildcats basketball players will wear a Carvana patch this season, the first jersey patch partner in school history, the University of Arizona announced, according to Arizona Sports.
The deal names the Arizona-based online car retailer the exclusive auto partner of Arizona Athletics and the official jersey patch sponsor for both men’s and women’s basketball.
The Carvana patch will sit on the right shoulder of the jerseys, with a Monster Energy patch on the left shoulder, Arizona Sports reported.
“Carvana has deep Arizona roots and shares our commitment to innovation, competitive excellence and community engagement,” Arizona athletic director Desireé Reed-Francois said. “The depth of this partnership showcases the power of the Wildcats brand and creates impactful opportunities for our men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes.”
The partnership also includes in-venue branding at McKale Center, digital and social content, radio and ESPN+ inventory, game sponsorships, fan activations and alumni reunions sponsored by Carvana, according to the university’s release.
