PHOENIX — Maricopa County voters whose ballot signatures were flagged have until 5 p.m. Sunday to fix them, according to a release from the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office.
The office said it has finished signature verification for early ballots dropped off on Election Day and has moved on to curing, the process of contacting voters whose signatures need to be confirmed.
Voters with a curing issue can call the office at 602-506-1511 or use BeBallotReady.Vote, according to the release.
The curing deadline is Sunday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m.
Voters who cast a conditional provisional ballot must show identification at a county location to have that ballot counted, the office said.
Those sites are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center at 510 S. 3rd Ave. in Phoenix, the Mesa Elections Office at 222 E. Javelina Ave., the Goodyear City Clerk’s office at 1900 N. Civic Square and the Surprise City Clerk’s office at 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
Counting continues in several close races across the county after Tuesday’s election, including Phoenix City Council contests in which only a few hundred votes separate candidates.
Results are updated on the county’s election results website.
