TEMPE — Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love will play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys after missing two games with an ankle injury, coach Mike LaFleur said, according to Arizona Sports.
Love, the No. 3 overall pick, was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday and was a full participant Friday. He has 245 rushing yards in five games, Arizona Sports reported.
Defensive lineman Walter Nolen III and offensive lineman Jon Gaines II have been ruled out with ankle injuries.
Center Hjalte Froholdt (knee) was downgraded two days in a row and is questionable. Cornerback Max Melton (knee) and safety Andrew Wingard (knee) are also questionable after being limited all week. Hayden Conner could see snaps on the offensive line if Froholdt cannot go, according to Arizona Sports.
Wide receiver Michael Wilson will play despite wearing a non-contact jersey in practice to protect sore ribs, LaFleur said. Wilson said the jersey was just him “being smart.”
Quarterback Carson Beck, who has dealt with back spasms, was limited Wednesday and a full participant by Thursday. Beck has not been active on a game day this season and has served only as an emergency option.
Kickoff details and the final inactive list will be released before the Week 8 game Sunday.
