GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals traded wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, to the Houston Texans on Sunday, Arizona Sports reported.
Arizona sent Harrison and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Houston for 2027 second- and sixth-round picks.
ESPN’s Seth Walder gave the Cardinals an “A-” and the Texans a “C+” for the deal. “The Cardinals didn’t have to trade Harrison yet, but he will be worth more to a contending team than he is to them,” Walder wrote, adding that Michael Wilson had already become Arizona’s No. 1 receiver.
Harrison had five catches for 85 yards and one touchdown on 13 targets through four games this season. He was inactive for Sunday’s loss to Detroit after being told a trade was being finalized.
In Houston, Harrison reunites with quarterback C.J. Stroud, his former Ohio State teammate.
