Travis Scott Arrested for Disorderly Intoxication in Miami Beach

Rapper Travis Scott, real name Jacques Bermon Webster, is best known for his tracks “Sikko Mode” and “Fe!N.” He was charged with disorderly intoxication early on Thursday after allegedly yelling at individuals aboard a boat in Miami Beach, Florida, according to police records.

According to a Miami Beach police arrest document, Scott was taken into custody after authorities were summoned to the Miami Beach Marina early on Thursday in response to a complaint of an unruly situation on a yacht. Someone had reported that there were fights on board.

According to officials, Scott was seen “standing by the dock yelling at the vessel occupants.” He obeyed the police’s orders to sit down at first, but he later ignored them. According to police, the complainant told them he just wanted Scott off the ship and didn’t want to file any charges.

According to the affidavit, officers detected “a strong smell of alcohol coming from the defendant’s breath.”

He eventually consented to leave the dock under penalty of detention, but he left with a commotion. According to the officials, Scott “walked backwards yelling obscenities to the occupants of the vessel” as he made his way to the boardwalk.

Five minutes after he left the marina, he returned, and police saw him making his way back toward the boat, according to the authorities.

According to the affidavit, Scott started ranting again after speaking with the sergeant he had talked to earlier. He was described as “becoming erratic” and “disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings causing a public disturbance.”

Later on, Scott acknowledged that he had been consuming alcohol, adding, “it’s Miami.”

Authorities and prison records state that he was taken into custody at the Miami Beach Marina at 1:44 a.m. and was put into jail at 4:35 a.m. A $650 bail has been submitted for the 33-year-old. According to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County, Scott bailed out of jail on Thursday at eight in the morning.

Later on Thursday, he posted an altered picture of his mug shot to his Instagram story along with a pair of headphones and sunglasses.

Mr. Scott’s attorney Bradford Cohen stated, “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding.” “We thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution,” NBC News, stated. “There was absolutely no physical altercation involved.”

Travis Scott is one of the top hip-hop artists in the world and a ten-time Grammy Award nominee.

He had dated Kylie Jenner before, and the two of them are parents to two kids.

His European tour is planned to begin in the Netherlands on June 28. On July 13, he will do a gig in Manchester at the Co-op Live venue and another in London.
