Environmental Groups Appeal Approval of Navajo Mine Expansion; Tribal-Owned Coal Company Says Critics Have It Wrong

Tó Nizhóní Ání and San Juan Citizens Alliance asked the Interior Department to reconsider the No Name Permit for the Navajo Mine, which supplies the APS-run Four Corners Power Plant. Navajo Transitional Energy Co. says the permit is not a new mine or a 100-year approval.
