PHOENIX — Phoenix developer Intersection Development plans to break ground next month on two Roosevelt Row projects worth more than $70 million that will add 125 homes to downtown’s arts district, KTAR News reported.
SISU Roosevelt will be a 12-story mixed-use tower at 821 N. First Ave., with a rooftop event space, an elevated pool deck, ground-floor retail and boutique offices.
Next door at 801 N. First Ave., Arcada will preserve historic buildings for new dining spots from Clive Collective, the group behind The Americano, Tell Your Friends and Neon Spur. Its anchor will be Ada, a coastal American restaurant with wood-fired cooking and a raw bar in the century-old Stoddard-Harmon House.
The projects are part of the developer’s plan for Fascination Street, a lighted, landscaped pedestrian connection through Roosevelt Row. “People should come downtown on purpose and stay because the area gives them a reason to,” co-founder Zac Cohen said in a news release.
