PHOENIX — Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll had surgery Thursday, Nov. 5, to remove loose bodies from his right elbow, The Arizona Republic reported, according to Arizona Sports.
The procedure was described as minimally invasive, and Carroll said he does not expect it to change his offseason routine much.
“I’m guessing a couple broke off during the season and a couple broke off last week,” Carroll told the Republic. “Last week was when I really had significant symptoms.”
Carroll played 156 games in 2026, won a Gold Glove and is a Silver Slugger finalist despite several health scares. He had surgery on a broken hamate bone in February that forced him out of the World Baseball Classic and missed games in September with lower back discomfort.
