GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals have activated offensive lineman Isaiah Adams from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced.
Adams was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury after the Week 4 game against the New York Giants and returned to practice this week. He had been listed as questionable for Sunday, according to Arizona Sports.
His return could help an offensive line hit hard by injuries. Starting left tackle Jayden Williams, who had been filling in for the injured Paris Johnson Jr., was ruled out against Seattle, and right guard Jon Gaines II is also out.
Arizona Sports reported that Josh Fryar is expected to play left tackle, which could allow Adams to slide back into a starting guard spot.
The Cardinals also elevated tight end Shawn Bowman and running back Jerome Ford from the practice squad to the active roster.
Arizona has lost 10 straight games to Seattle, according to Arizona Sports. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday.
