TEMPE — Arizona State standout safety Lyrik Rawls is questionable for Saturday’s game against No. 8 BYU, a sign he could return from a leg injury, Arizona Sports reported.
Rawls has not played since Oct. 3.
Coach Kenny Dillingham said Rawls is “probably in the questionable range more than doubtful” and is “definitely working his way back.”
Quarterback Mikey Keene and offensive lineman Wade Helton are also questionable, according to the Big 12 availability report. Dillingham said earlier in the week that freshman Jake Fette would start if Keene is unavailable.
Offensive lineman Tana Alo-Tupuola is listed out.
The Sun Devils and Cougars kick off at 12:30 p.m. MST Saturday, Oct. 31, in Provo, Utah.
A road win over a top-10 opponent would be a major boost for the Sun Devils in the Big 12 race.
