TEMPE — Arizona State will wear a black Sparky helmet for the first time when the Sun Devils visit No. 8 BYU on Halloween, Arizona Sports reported.
ASU will pair the helmet with white jerseys and black pants for a black-white-black look at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah, on Saturday. BYU is going all navy.
The classic Sparky logo has appeared three times this season, twice on a gold helmet and once on a white helmet. An enlarged Sparky face logo has also appeared on a white helmet.
The Sun Devils are coming off a blackout win over Kansas State last week.
Elsewhere in the Big 12, Oklahoma State will wear all orange and Iowa State all black for Halloween weekend.
