PEORIA — Phoenix-founded Flower Child is expanding in the West Valley with two restaurants opening before the end of the year, KTAR News reported.
The fast-casual chain will open in Peoria at The Trailhead, near 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road, on Nov. 17. That will be its 48th location. A Goodyear restaurant at GSQ follows Dec. 8 as No. 49.
“The West Valley has been on our minds for a long time, and we intentionally waited for the right locations,” Dave Luz, vice president of operations, said in a news release. “Flower Child is Arizona-born and bred, so serving these neighborhoods feels like coming home.”
Both restaurants will open with the chain’s new fall menu, including a roasted butternut and Asian pear salad and a hoisin tofu “banh mi” wrap.
Flower Child is known for its healthy bowls, wraps and salads and has grown into a national chain since opening its first location in Phoenix.
