TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — At least 12 people, six of them children, were injured Saturday in a shooting near a football stadium in Tallahassee during Florida A&M University’s homecoming weekend, the Associated Press reported.
Police said early findings show a fight broke out before the gunfire in a crowded area after a game. Eleven people suffered gunshot wounds, and at least three were seriously hurt.
Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell said no one had been arrested. The university said the shooting happened near campus and that the campus itself was safe.
