Arizona Switches to New Statewide Election Results Website for Nov. 3

PHOENIX — Arizona will report unofficial results for the Nov. 3 general election through a new statewide platform from Enhanced Voting, replacing its previous election night reporting system, the Arizona Department of State announced Monday.

The system, called Enhanced Results, collects and validates results submitted by counties and displays them through interactive maps, charts and a public website. It is a reporting tool only and is not used to cast or count ballots.

“Not only does the program provide users with easily accessible real-time updates, but it is also developed, maintained, and audited by election security experts,” Secretary of State Adrian Fontes said.

The software is already used by Virginia, Utah and Georgia, and by Cochise, Coconino, Mohave and Navajo counties in Arizona for local results, according to StateScoop.

Election night totals are unofficial. Arizona counties report returns as ballots are processed, so numbers can shift on election night and in the days that follow.
