Youngstown, Ohio Building Explosion: Emergency Response and Updates

Ohio Chase Bank massive explosion left many people injured with a count of two people that are missing, one an and a women. There were seven people who were sent to the hospital with one in critical condition.

On May 28, 2024, a massive explosion shook the Chase Bank building in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. Emergency crews swiftly responded to the scene at the Chase Bank building, also known as Realty Towers, shortly after the explosion reportedly rocked the first floor of the building around 2:30 p.m. local time.

The explosion occurred at the Chase Bank building on Market Street in Youngstown, Ohio. The source of the explosion has been identified as an underground gas leak.: Several people have been reported injured due to the blast.According to ABC7 there are reported  7 people injured and 1 in critical condition, Emergency Response: Emergency services are on the scene, working to address the situation and provide aid to those affected.

Youngstown Fire Chief Barry Finley confirmed that no fatalities had been reported at the time of publication. According to Lindsay McCoy, an anchor for NBC affiliate WFMJ, “everyone is accounted for” following the incident.
