Woman Found Dead in Downtown Phoenix Hotel Sparks Homicide Investigation

“A homicide investigation is underway in downtown Phoenix after a woman was found dead inside a popular hotel.

Phoenix police responded to the Renaissance Hotel near 1st Street and Adams around 3:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting.

A security guard discovered an injured woman in a hotel room, and emergency crews pronounced her dead at the scene. 

Homicide detectives are currently investigating, but details about the woman’s injuries and possible suspects remain unavailable.”
