Tempe Police Seek Public’s Help Following Arizona Mills Mall Shooting

TEMPE, ARIZ. – Tempe Police are actively investigating a shooting that took place on Friday night at Arizona Mills Mall. The incident occurred in the busy food court area around 7:30 p.m., prompting a flurry of 911 calls reporting gunfire.

According to authorities, the shooting followed an argument between two groups. As the situation escalated, patrons in the food court scrambled for safety. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

Detectives are currently following up on leads and are requesting the public’s assistance. They urge anyone who may have captured video or photos of the mall or food court between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to contact the Tempe Police Department. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
