The Gospel Music Association is the organization that produces the 55th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Paul Wright and Curtis Stoneberger are producers, and Jackie Patillo and Justin Fratt are executive producers and showrunners. Returning to the director’s chair is Russell E. The schedule for its yearly Music City Fan Experience was also made public by the GMA. A concert in Brandon Lake at the Ryman Auditorium, a new artist showcase with the 2024 class of new artist of the year contenders, a river tour on the General Jackson Showboat with a songwriters showcase, and a GMA Dove Awards ticket are all included. One of the packages includes lodging in Nashville’s downtown.
The GMA debuted a new category on March 26: recorded praise song in Spanish for the year. The new honor joins two existing Latin music categories: the 2017-created Spanish language recorded song of the year and the 1998-established Spanish language album of the year.
