Flagstaff Voters Weigh a Half-Cent Sales Tax and $40 Million Bond for Police and Fire as Early Voting Opens

Prop. 404 would raise Flagstaff’s sales tax by 0.5% for 15 years to fund 77 public safety jobs; Prop. 405 would authorize $40 million in bonds for a new fire station, a police headquarters expansion and a wildland fire facility. A city and FUSD open house is set for Wednesday.
