Scottsdale Brush Fire: 500 Acres Consumed, No Immediate Threat to Structures

A brush fire is currently blazing in the northeast portion of Scottsdale, near the Boulder Heights community.

As of 3:30 p.m., it has consumed approximately 500 acres of land. Fortunately, no structures are currently threatened by the fire.

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management reports that the fire is moving away from homes and toward the Wildcat Fire burn scar.

Scottsdale Police confirm that no structures are at risk, although there are some power poles in the area.
