Phoenix, AZ – On June 2nd, at approximately 11:15 pm, Phoenix Police responded to reports of a shooting near Greenway Road and Tatum Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a caller who reported finding their boyfriend shot inside the residence and believed they heard another gunshot.
The scene was secured, and officers entered the home, locating 44-year-old Ryan Liming deceased from a gunshot wound.
They also found 55-year-old James Quinn deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives assumed the investigation. Through witness interviews and evidence collected at the scene, detectives believe there was a dispute between Liming and Quinn earlier in the evening.
Evidence suggests Quinn shot and killed Liming before taking his own life.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue to process the evidence.
