Phoenix Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed in Collision

Phoenix, AZ — Phoenix Police Vehicular Crimes detectives have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred earlier today.

On August 13th 2024 at approximately 1:14 p.m., officers responded to a collision at the intersection of North 9th Street and East Bell Road. Upon arrival, they found an adult male motorcyclist with severe injuries. Despite emergency efforts, 60-year-old Parris Frazier was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to preliminary reports, the incident involved two vehicles. A Nissan Altima, driven by an adult male, was traveling eastbound on Bell Road when the driver failed to yield while turning left onto 9th Street. This maneuver resulted in a collision with a Harley Davidson Sportster, operated by Frazier. The driver of the Nissan was unharmed and stayed at the scene.

The collision is under investigation, and further details will be released as the inquiry progresses.
