Phoenix police on DPS officers have arrested and taken two individuals into custody following a pursuit Wednesday afternoon.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the situation began when troopers pulled over a SUV on Phoenix area freeway for excessive speed.
According to DPS the driver sped away, exited the freeway and almost hit a DPS officer on a motorcycle.
Officials said the suspect also rammed into a DPS patrol SUV during the pursuit during the ending in the next several minutes.
Two suspects were eventually released on bail in the vicinity of 45th Avenue and Osborn Road in west Phoenix.
Authorities swiftly apprehended the passenger, while a perimeter was established, leading to the subsequent arrest of the driver.”
