One Dead in Early Morning Shooting in Surprise, Arizona

SURPRISE, Ariz. — A shooting early Friday morning in a Surprise neighborhood has left one person dead. The incident occurred just after midnight on July 26, with Surprise Police responding to a call near Bullard Avenue and Waddell Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man who had been shot in the head in a bedroom of a residence. Despite emergency efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the deceased’s identity.

Surprise Police have confirmed that no other individuals were injured in the incident. All persons present inside the home at the time of the shooting have remained on the scene and are cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
