New York Man Faces Charges for Manufacturing and Selling 3D-Printed Guns Online

   Roberto Guerrero is a 29 year old that was arrested last week . According to Prosecutors  Roberto is being accused of manufacturing ghost guns and test firing them in central park .Authorities say he had been manufacturing guns since September of last year and sold them online advertising them with self made videos.

Police say they found a cache of untraceable guns, along with a 3-D printer inside the apartment of Roberto Guerrero during his arrest last week. Officials say Guerreros children were in the home at the time the police executed the search warrant. They say his wife was separately charged in a criminal court complaint for allegedly assisting in the operation.

NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban said “ This Cache of weapons , including untraceable 3-d printed ghost guns, had the potential to wreak horrendous carnage- as the defendant , himself , demonstrated several times on video”,

Prosecutors say he recorded videos of himself firing some of the weapons, Ge allegedly fired two assault weapons with attached silencers on December 8th 2023 and February 20th 2024.

New York District Attorney Bragg said

“As alleged Robert Guerrero threatened the safety of all New Yorker, including hid own children , when he decided to manufacture and store 3D- printed weapons – some of which are fully operable – in his home”As the technology behind 3d weapons continues to improve, the guns being produced are only becoming more sophisticated . Gun violence remains our top priority  and while I am pleased that shooting and homicides are down significantly since I took Office,we must remain diligent and leverage every tool at our disposal to tackle ghost guns and ultimately prevent gun violence.”

Robert Guerrero is facing several charges including criminal possession of a weapon endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of ammunition.
