Metro Bus Driver Attacked by Passenger on Wilshire Boulevard

 Los Angeles CA-  According to (NBC Los Angeles 4)-A Bus Operator from The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authorities revealed Thursday she was attacked on the Job, only to fend for herself. The driver did not want to reveal her identity. She said a man wanted to board her bus on Wiltshire boulevard and Serrano Avenue and Korea town on Tuesday. She didn’t open the door. The Bus rider would not take no for an answer according to the Driver.

According to the driver, the individual became confrontational. They positioned themselves in front of the bus, preventing the driver from moving forward. Subsequently, the person threw beer onto the windshield and approached the driver’s left side near the window.

“The woman reported that the man not only threw beer on her seat but also opened her window. Additionally, he continued causing a disturbance outside the bus, as per the driver’s account.”

“A Metro bus driver contacted her supervisors while approximately 20 passengers were on board, but assistance did not arrive for an hour,” she stated. According to the driver, her supervisor relayed a message from the LAPD, indicating that they had other priorities. The driver expressed her frustration, questioning whether her safety was not considered a priority.”
