Acclaimed singer-songwriter Julia Michaels has sold a substantial portion of her music catalog to Jonas Group Publishing (JGP) and Jonas Catalog Holdings in a new deal backed by Corrum Capital Management. The acquisition includes a vast collection of publishing copyrights and recordings, solidifying Michaels’ impact across multiple music genres.
In a statement, JGP President Leslie T. DiPiero praised Michaels’ songwriting, calling the catalog “truly special” for both Jonas Group Publishing and Jonas Catalog Holdings. “It’s not just about the hits she’s created; it’s about the heart and soul in each track,” DiPiero said.
Kevin Jonas Sr., founder and chairman of Jonas Group Entertainment, also expressed admiration for Michaels’ work. “My family and I have been big fans of Julia Michaels for years,” Jonas Sr. said. “Her music has been a part of our journey, and we’ve experienced the magic of her songs firsthand. We’re excited to work with her and her team to continue sharing these incredible songs with the world and to build on the success they’ve already seen.”
Jonas emphasized the importance of the partnership with Corrum Capital Management, thanking the firm for its support in acquiring Michaels’ catalog. He also credited Access Media Advisory, Teresa Miles Walsh, and Moghan Music for their roles in facilitating the transaction.
