Five Injured, One Dead In A Tragic Car Crash In Phoenix, Arizona.

A collision at 56th Street and Pinnacle Peak Road on Friday night resulted in the transfer of six patients to a hospital.

At around 8:45 p.m., firefighters were called to a multi-vehicle incident between 56th Street and Pinnacle Peak Road, which is located just west of Scottsdale Road. When Phoenix Fire arrived, they put out the fires in the two burning cars and attended to the six victims of the horrific accident before transferring them all to nearby trauma centers in severe condition. Nevertheless, Juliene Aumani, 53, passed away in the hospital from her wounds.

The 19-year-old lady hit several shrubs and Palo Verde trees on the north side of the road when she abruptly lost control of her Fiat while traveling west on Pinnacle Peak Road, according to Phoenix police.

A Toyota Corolla carrying five people—among them Aumani, who passed away in the hospital—was struck by the Fiat when it returned to the road and crossed the centerline. Of the occupants of the Corolla, three are in stable condition and one was critically hurt but is expected to live. There were no injuries to the 31-year-old Corolla driver.

Among those with significant injuries is the 19-year-old Fiat driver, who has also been sent to the hospital. Her future is still unknown, as is the obvious chain of circumstances that led to this catastrophe. If impairment was a factor in her conduct, Phoenix police are looking into it right now.
