Phoenix Police detectives are currently investigating a fatal shooting in west Phoenix that claimed the life of a man.
On the night of June 23, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Phoenix police officers were called to the area near 35th Avenue and Indian School Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Patrick Kanoti, 37 years old, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Tragically, Kanoti was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have since taken over the investigation. Further details regarding the incident are still under investigation.
