On June 26, 2024, at approximately 9:20 p.m. Phoenix Police responded to a collision involving a pedestrian near 40th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Tragically, an adult male sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The two vehicles involved in the collision remained at the scene.
Detectives have taken over the investigation, and preliminary information indicates that the victim was crossing Camelback Road midblock when he was struck by both westbound vehicles.
