Los Angeles, CA — Actor Nick Pasqual now faces charges of attempted murder following a harrowing incident where he allegedly stabbed his estranged girlfriend, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, multiple times. The unsettling event unfolded on May 23 at Shehorn’s residence in Los Angeles.
According to a press release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Pasqual is confronting several charges stemming from the assault. Reportedly, Pasqual forcibly entered Shehorn’s home during the early hours of May 23 and inflicted severe bodily harm upon her in circumstances linked to domestic violence.
Among the charges leveled against Pasqual is First-Degree Residential Burglary, coupled with the infliction of significant bodily injury upon Shehorn. Additionally, he faces the charge of Injuring a Spouse, Cohabitant, Fiancé, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, or Child’s Parent, directly related to the alleged attack on Shehorn. Notably, Shehorn had recently sought legal protection by filing a restraining order against Pasqual.
After the traumatic ordeal, Pasqual fled the scene and was subsequently apprehended at a U.S./Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. He is currently awaiting extradition to Los Angeles County to answer to the charges brought against him.
Following the vicious attack, Shehorn underwent multiple surgeries to address her injuries and endured several days in intensive care. As of May 28, she has been discharged from the hospital and transferred to a different section of the facility as part of her ongoing recovery process.
District Attorney George Gascón offered his heartfelt sympathy to the victim and stressed the urgency of addressing instances of domestic violence. He asserted, “This heinous incident serves as a stark reminder of the perils posed by domestic violence. We are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring that the individual responsible for this reprehensible act faces the full weight of justice.”
