The Dallas Mavericks will be heading to the Western Conference finals . Luka Doncic led the charge, overcoming aggressive defense from the Thunder. Doncic’s spin move into a step-back 3-pointer and his ability to create scoring opportunities were pivotal. Other Mavericks players, including Josh Green and Hardy, also contributed offensively. P.J. Washington Jr. made two crucial free throws before intentionally missing a shot with 2.5 seconds left. Luka logged in a triple double tonight with 29 points 10 rebounds and 10 assist,
Kyrie Irving Contributed with 22 points to secure the win.
Give credit to the Thunder, they fought a good fight this series and gave all they could. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Led the way with 29 points, nine rebounds, and a Playoff career-high nine assists. Jalen Williams Scored 18 points and added five rebounds and five assists. Chet Holmgren Contributed 19 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks with there stars in double digits but it still wasn’t enough to extend the series to game 7.
COngrats to the Thunder for the best record and for making it this far in the playoffs. This will become an experience for them and hopefully motivate them so they can make it further next year.
