“Bronx Prosecutor Resigns After Alleged Attempt to Meet Minor Exposed in Viral Video”

A Bronx prosecutor abruptly resigned after being caught on video allegedly trying to meet a young boy he had communicated with online, as revealed by a clip from internet vigilantes who target suspected child predators. William C.C. Kemp-Neal, 30, left his position at the Bronx District Attorney’s office just four days after Dads Against Predators released footage of him at the Target parking lot on East Sandford Boulevard in Mount Vernon.

The video, recorded on July 8 around 8:30 p.m., shows the vigilantes confronting Kemp-Neal, who graduated from Fordham Law in 2021, and asking if he is Marcus. Kemp-Neal then attempts to flee.

Earning $84,990 as an Assistant District Attorney, Kemp-Neal primarily dealt with assault, harassment, and child endangerment cases. The vigilantes chased him while shouting, “Excuse me everybody, this man right here came to meet a 13-year-old boy.”

The pursuit ended when a bystander intervened, placing Kemp-Neal in a chokehold, as shown in the footage. Kemp-Neal struggles to breathe and tries to escape while being questioned.

The Mount Vernon Police arrived at the scene and interviewed those involved. Although no arrests were made, police stated they had encountered multiple allegations and promised a thorough investigation. Kemp-Neal has not been charged with any crime.

According to a statement from DA Darcel Clark’s office, Kemp-Neal worked as an ADA from June 28, 2020, until July 17, 2024, and has since resigned. Kemp-Neal was unavailable for comment.
