Phoenix, AZ – In a chilling case that has shaken the community, Brandon Michael Lujan has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole for the vicious murder of his parents and brother in their Central Phoenix home. The sentencing, announced by Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell, follows Lujan’s conviction in June for the heinous crimes that occurred in 2021.
The tragic sequence of events unfolded when Phoenix Police responded to a disturbing report from a local hospital, where Lujan had confessed to staff that he had killed his family the previous night. According to police accounts, Lujan began by fatally shooting his brother before storming into his parents’ residence and unleashing a barrage of gunfire. The intensity of his attack required him to pause and reload his weapon.
Shockingly, two of Lujan’s young daughters were present in his vehicle at the time of the murders. One of them overheard him declare his intent to “kill them all” moments before the shots rang out, followed by screams from inside the home.
