PHOENIX — Phoenix-based grocer Sprouts Farmers Market is opening three new Arizona stores over the next two weeks, KTAR News reported.
Two open Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 a.m.: one near Houghton and Old Vail roads in Tucson and one near Scottsdale and McDowell roads in Scottsdale. Both will hold grand-opening events Friday through Sunday, and shoppers who sign up for Sprouts Rewards that weekend can get 20% off one purchase.
The first 400 shoppers at each store Friday get a free long-stemmed rose, and the first 200 each day Friday and Saturday get a free reusable tote, according to KTAR.
Through the company’s Food Rescue program, the Tucson store will donate unsellable but safe groceries to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, and the Scottsdale store will donate to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Both stores will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A 30,000-square-foot store near Alma School Road and Southern Avenue in Mesa opens Nov. 6, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.
