BULLHEAD CITY — President Donald Trump wrapped an Arizona midterm stop in Bullhead City that was built to boost Rep. Andy Biggs against Gov. Katie Hobbs — and skipped the state’s two most competitive House races on stage.
Republicans Jay Feely and Rep. Juan Ciscomani, who are running in Arizona’s toss-up 1st and 6th districts, did not attend the Mohave County event, Scripps News reported. Mohave County gave Trump about 78% of the vote in 2024, making it a turnout stop rather than a persuasion one.
Trump used the visit to show off the new Air Force One and defend accepting a luxury jet from Qatar’s royal family. After Arizona he flew to Montana for another Republican rally. The Arizona trip was part of an 11-rally stretch in two weeks as Republicans try to hold Congress on Nov. 3.
Early voting is underway statewide. Hobbs has led Biggs in recent public polling, and both campaigns are fighting over turnout in Maricopa and the rural counties Trump carried.
