TEMPE, ARIZ. – We regret to share a somber update regarding the devastating mobile home fire that occurred on the night of August 25, 2024. Valerie Magana-Gonzalez, the last surviving victim of the blaze, passed away last night at approximately 10:30 PM, following a valiant struggle for her life lasting over two weeks.
Authorities continue their investigation into the cause and origin of the fire. Tempe Fire and Medical Rescue, along with the Tempe Police Department, are diligently working to uncover the details surrounding this tragic event.
