Police Arrest Suspect Arbron Mehaj for Second Degree Murder in Phoenix, AZ

Phoenix, AZ — A tragic incident unfolded late last night when a verbal altercation escalated into violence. A man now faces homicide charges after allegedly shooting and killing another man near a bus stop.Around 11:30 p.m., local law enforcement received a distress call regarding a shooting at the intersection of Tatum Boulevard and Union Hills Drive. 

Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound lying next to the bus stop. Despite their efforts to provide aid, the victim—identified as 49-year-old Nathan Page—succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Officers promptly interviewed witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby convenience store. These efforts led them to a suspect, 31-year-old Arbron Mehaj, who reportedly lived in the vicinity. Detectives took over the investigation, following leads that ultimately resulted in Mehaj’s arrest.

Armed with search warrants, detectives uncovered additional evidence linking Mehaj to the crime. As a result, he now faces Second Degree Murder charges. Authorities have booked him into the Maricopa County Jail pending further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains active, and authorities continue to piece together the events that led to this tragic loss of life.
