Lawsuit Alleges Sexual Abuse at Palm Valley Post Acute – Goodyear AZ

Goodyear Az- A women (Jane Doe) who alleges that she was raped several times by a nursing assistant has filed a civil lawsuit against the suspect and Palm Valley Post Acute.

The Victim is referred to as (Jane Doe) in the lawsuit. The suspect is Bobby Lee Williams, a former nursing assistant at the facility. Goodyear Police submitted Charges against Mr.Williams the county’s attorneys office is still reviewing the case. 

Williams surrendered his nursing assistant license after admitting to having sex with Jane Doe but claimed she initiated it. Several certified nursing assistants reportedly knew about the abuse. According To fox news the victim went to Palm valley and was told to “go through the chain of command”. The facility ignored Jane Doe’s complaint, as revealed by Arizona’s Department of Health Services.

 The victim(Jane Doe) states she stayed at Palm Valley Post acute for less than a month before everything in her life changed. Jane Doe alleges that she woke up to Williams massaging her on September 27,2023.

The complaint alleges the abuse continues from there. After leaving Palm Valley, Jane Doe discovered she was pregnant and later suffered a miscarriage.

The lawsuit was filed May 6th. The Attorney to Jane Doe says Palm Valley altered her records after her discharge to say she had a pattern of making false accusations and had attention seeking behaviors.

The lawsuit alleges sexual abuse, negligence, and negligent hiring and supervision. Jane Doe seeks damages exceeding $300,000.
