64-year-old Margie New’s Homicide: Phoenix Police Appeal for Public Help

The Phoenix Police Department is seeking assistance from the public following the death of a woman who was discovered injured in an alley earlier this month. On June 13, authorities responded to a report near 44th Street and Thomas Road, where a woman appeared to have been assaulted.

The victim, identified as 64-year-old Margie New, was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment but remained unconscious and tragically passed away on Friday. A recent autopsy revealed severe trauma, leading the Maricopa County medical examiner to classify her death as a homicide.
